Ol Jogi Olive Blossom

This 14-ounce jar of raw, light amber olive blossom honey is harvested from the Ol Jogi area by the Gabbra community and processed without pesticides, chemicals, fine filtering, or pasteurization. Each batch of olive blossom is unique, so no two jars look or taste exactly alike!

The Gabbra are a Cushitic-speaking pastoralist community inhabiting some of Kenya’s most arid regions. In these fragile environments, honey offers a climate-resilient livelihood that does not depend on rainfall.

Income from honey supports family nutrition and children’s education while reducing vulnerability during drought seasons. By valuing honey, the Gabbra community is encouraged to protect flowering trees and natural habitats critical to both bees and people.
